
Welcome to the Sharon Gill School of Dance where we Dance to enhance! Destination: Excellence!
We have classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Theatre craft and Acrobatic Dance from age 2.5 years to advanced students in our main hub in the Centre of Aberdeen with easy parking and also in Westhill on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Classes in Cheer, Pom, Jazz, lyrical and Hip hop are also available through our sister school: Aberdeen cheer and dance company (ACDC)

All classes are taught by fully qualified teachers who are all experts in their own fields. All teachers are first aid trained and DBS checked.

Modern:
A theatrical dance form incorporating strength, stretch and conditioning into dance moves culminating in a lively rhythmical use of steps, isolated body movement and choreography
Ballet:
A classical dance form using grace and precision, employing formalised steps set in intricate, flowing patterns with added expression and storyline through movement.


A style that combines dance movements with acrobatic skills and elements. It combines unique choreography and exercises into a blend of strength, control and athleticism resulting in gracefulness and gymnastic content
Acrobatic Dance
Very similar in style to modern and jazz but with incorporating drama, as well as everything a dancer requires to know regarding stage and theatrical performance skills
Jazz
Similar to modern in style but incorporating fast, more energetic movement and choreography

Theatre Craft:

Very similar in style to modern and jazz but incorporating drama and acting skills , as well as everything a dancer requires to know regarding stage and theatrical performance skills
Tap:
A dance style using shoes fitted with metal taps characterised by rhymical use of the feet and body
